Don’t Deal With Loan Modification Companies

Loan Modification companies have been springing up all over the country. They are taking people’s money in exchange for saving their homes from foreclosure. Why would you pay someone hundreds, or even thousands of dollars to handle something you could easily do yourself. Although my site is geared towards topics that involve college and high school students, I felt obligated to expose these companies.  I worked for many years in the mortgage industry and can’t stand to see how these people are taking advantage of everyone. The main reason I got out the mortgage industry was I didn’t have the heart to swindle people. The majority of the people doing these loan modification loans are the same people who got everyone into these situations in the first place. Once the sub prime mortgage industry went down the tubes, all these shops needed a way to continue to make money, so they begin converting their shops into loan modification branches. The same twenty year old kids who never owned a home and talked you into a 2 year adjustable rate mortgage starting at an interest rate of 8% are now talking people into paying $2000 to”save their home”. Although it is true that many of these companies are helping people modify their mortgage, why should you pay them all this money when you could easily do the same thing with a couple quick calls to your mortgage company.  The condition of today’s real estate market and the economy as a whole can be partially blamed on the same people who are modifying your mortgages. Don’t give them the satisfaction or the income.  All you need to do is call your mortgage company and let them know, you want to make things work and keep your home. I am willing to answer any and all questions regarding loan modification companies and saving your home at no cost.  Any questions you or anyone you know may have, please add them as a comment to this post. I will be answering questions all day everyday and helping you save your home. You shouldn’t have to pay someone to keep what is yours.
